‘The Beehive’, The Bluff, QLD – Felt Shingle to Metal Replacement
Architecturally designed in the 1970’s and named ‘The Beehive’, Certified Roofing was delighted to undertake a roof conversion to metal on this amazingly unique home.
In addition to replacing the roof, this home required custom folded top hat roof battens be installed to increase the depth of the box gutters. The new box gutters were tapered from the highest to lowest point incorporating falls in their folds.
Colorbond 0.42bmt in Custom Orb was the material of choice along with 0.55bmt box gutters and custom-made octagonal polycarbonate skylights.
Installed with expert workmanship, the finished project was simply beautiful resulting in a very happy client.
